Emergency Response Teams

Emergency Response Teams are on site at all times and available immediately during confined space operations significantly reducing response time.

ERT members equipment remains in place and ready for deployment in close proximity to confined space entry points.

Drills are performed by STC’s Emergency Response Team with site owner’s internal rescue team (when available) in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 (k)(2)(iv) to ensure site familiarity and procedural proficiency.

STC’s Emergency Response Division reviews and writes Emergency Action Plans for permitted CSE rescue operations.

Confined Space Rescue

Our confined space rescue crews are trained to handle emergency situations at a moment’s notice, including entrapment, engulfment, flammable gasses and toxic fumes, helping mitigate any potential emergencies that may arise at your facility.

Supplemental Rescue Personnel

Air Monitoring

Maintaining air quality is especially important in an industrial environment. Depending on the industry, air quality could be at various levels of high-risk. STC Rescue staffs qualified and certified Air Monitoring personnel ready to supplement your facility’s needs.

High Angle / Low Angle Rope Rescue

In the event of an emergency, STC Rescue’s rope teams are prepared to swiftly and confidently respond without hesitation. Our teams are trained to identify and minimize the hazards associated with confined space entries before a situation occurs.

STC Rescue Services offers full-service S.O.P Development for your internal Emergency Rescue Team needs. From initial ERT development to ongoing advanced ERT training, Safe Rescue is positioned to prepare a comprehensive S.O.P. customized for your facility’s parameters.

RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING

Qualitative and Quantitative

You must be fit tested before you use a respirator in the workplace, and you must be retested at least every 12 months to make sure that the respirator you use still fits you. You must be fit tested with the specific make, model, style, and size of respirator that you will be using.

Fire Watch / Hole Watch / Bottle Watch

STC Rescue provides fully trained and certified personnel for Fire Watch, Bottle Watch, and Access Attendants (Hole Watch).

Rescue pre-planning is one of THE most crucial elements of a successful and safe rescue should the need arise.
